Glamglow Powermud Dual Cleanse

Dual Cleanse

Wow – Glamglow Powermud Dual Cleanse is super-impressive. In fact, I’d challenge you to find a product that gives you softer skin after use.  I find anything with innovative formulas intriguing and I certainly haven’t used anything quite the same before.

Glamglow Powermud Dual Cleanse is both clay mask and oil cleanser – Brazilian White Clay is a natural silicone that helps with skin texture, Benotinite Clay contains calcium to cleanse, Kaolin Clay is a burst of shine reducing minerals and Green Clay contains plant extracts. Combine that with a blend of four oils (not at all greasy) and exfoliators and you have a weekly detox that has your skin singing! It feels gunky on application – it’s not a tidy mask – and you leave it for ten minutes. When it comes to washing off, you massage it around your face just before you’re ready to wipe away, so the exfoliating action can take place, and then just rinse.

I found that rinsing with lots of water wasn’t needed – I used a hot, damp flannel to wipe off which felt like it left the oils in tact on my skin – I’m not sure that my skin felt deep cleansed exactly, but it looked brighter and felt like someone had replaced my cheeks with velvet. I LOVE this stuff!

It’s a major drawback that it’s £49.99 – I can’t see how it can possibly be so for 50g. If it was half that price, I’d be physically pushing you in store to get it but ouch. Amazing as it is, it’s over-priced. If you are flush, its launching literally any day now at M&S and Feelunique.

  1. Nice….but the formula does not look so innovative: clays and oils..
Will check a bit more in detail this product formula. 🙂

  2. SO excited about this! Their Supermud is absolutely amazing for spotty skin so I have high hopes for this. I’ve noticed it’s already available on their main site xx

Wow! That’s some write-up. It’s expensive but I wonder how it compares with the Sisley Radiant Glow Express Mask? I adore the Sisley (as I do most of their masks) but theirs is even more pricey. Hmm, perhaps I should give this Glamglow a go (sorry, terrible rhyme!).

  4. This sound amazing but ouch at the price.

  5. I really need to try some of this Glam Glow stuff – sounds like it would be perfect for me! I have dry and dehydrated skin though and get scared of clay based masks – do you think this would be ok for me?

It’s really hard to say.. you know your skin best .. it doesn’t tingle like other Glamglow products so doesn’t seem quite so active.
