Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara

If you can hold on for a new mascara til July, Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara is taking mascara packaging to a whole other level with inverted black studs. Although it looks like a slightly aggressive tube, it’s gorgeously tactile and smooth to the touch! Since Riccardo Tisci took the Givenchy helm, Givenchy make-up has really started to make a statement in beauty world, reflecting his fashion direction and ideals. I love what Givenchy is doing with leather clad lipsticks and streamlined studs.

Givenchy mascara formulas contain keratin and a lash booster complex – the press release talks about the ‘mascara fringe’ which instantly makes me think of Claudia Winkleman – and this version of Givenchy mascara is built for mega-lashes. Think Benefit’s They’re Real only in a sexier tube. I’ve seen the mascara at work – it gives the blackest, blackest lashes that look full and volumized although if you like spiky definition, the formula may be a little too full for that. Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara is more of a smack of fat lashes.

It’s a June launch and Givenchy Noir Couture Volume Mascara costs £23.50.

  1. That packaging looks amazing! This sounds like it might be pretty good, I liked using the Benefit’s They’re Real mascara so hopefully this will hold up to the expectation 🙂 Danielle xx

  3. I can’t wait for this! I love the regular Noir Couture. Luckily I have enough minis to hold me over until later this summer 🙂

  4. I do really like the sound of this but They’re Real is expensive enough and I don’t like spending so much on a product that technically I should be throwing out in 3 -6 month 🙁
