I gave a little sneaky look at the new Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Solos on Instagram last night (if you want sneaky peeks, do follow: I’m britbeautyblog there as well) but have only just had a chance to swatch these. They’re some of the best shadows I’ve come across in terms of pay off and silkiness.
To put my favourite, Tangerine, in context, I’ve popped it on a gorgeous page from Harrods Magazine that covers off orange make-up. The 24 shades come in three variants: Vivds, Satins and Mattes.
The best way to illustrate the intensity of Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Solos is in a swatch.
So, shade wise from left to right: Tangerine (Vivid), Sapphire Spider (Vivid), Anemone (Vivid), Parma (Satin) and Wood (Matte). I must admit that Sapphire Spider has more purple in it that shows here where it looks very blue. The Satin selection focusses on nude looks so the shades are all much more muted.
Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Solos launch on 1st May – they’re £22 each which is a little bit of an ouch, but they’re pretty special.
