[unpaid/purchase/affiliate] I am the last person in the world to say that anything is ‘must have’ but I’ve just ordered two more of these brilliant, go with anything, wear anywhere, match with anything tops, and personally I feel I must have them! I mentioned this top on Monday but I’m back on it with a bit more detail today.
This is the top I have (obviously, I don’t look quite so picturesque as the beautiful model here) and I just don’t want to wear anything else at the moment. I’ve only had it a few days and there’s nothing much I can’t wear it with. It’s a very soft jersey polo and wardrobe wise, a collared top that isn’t a shirt is quite a rare thing.
I wear a lot of sweatshirts and like a collar to mitigate the sometimes harsh neckline of a sweat or a jumper but can’t bear the unwieldiness of long shirt sleeves stuffed underneath. Because this top is short sleeve, over heating is less likely and trust me, it’s so comfortable.
I’d say basics this useful don’t come along every day – which is why I’ve snapped up three – and especially basics that will see you through all of the seasons. It’s HERE with sizes up to XXL. You can wear those buttons as many up or down as you please – which brings me around to the new M&S bra I’ve just bought and am extremely pleased with. I know that wearing padded t-shirt bras is ubiquitous but sometimes it’s nice to show a bit of boob shape rather than those bland domes. I should add that I haven’t worn a proper bra for years, other than strapless on occasion, preferring Uniqlo bra tops – it’s purely a comfort thing.
This Flexifit does exactly that – gives you shape that is ‘your boobs but perkier’ and a reasonable amount of stability and hold despite the comfort stretch that stops your breasts feeling strangled. It’s enough for me anyway although if you have very generous boobs you might need more – the sizing goes up to an E cup. It’s the Flexifit Lace Wired Balcony Bra and for £22 HERE it feels like an absolute find.
