[unpaid/affiliate] I have quite a large collection of Lulu Guinness bags and purses – I went through a phase a few years back where I was mad for them. I went to a Lulu Guinness shoe sample sale where the shoes were all £5 a pair and I bought so many pairs just to give away to friends, keeping three pairs for myself.  I ended up with a prototype pair which had a picnic set on the top – very quirky and I never saw them come to market. Annoyingly, I can’t find them now to show you but I have a picture of some of my finds, including a red pair of shoes which I’ve actually never worn but just like to look at.

My house is actually dotted with little Lulu Guinness things because some, see below, are so ornamental that I’ve kept them as just that.

All of these are at least ten years old. But, the good news is that there are some very pretty things in the latest Lulu Guinness sale and I’ve picked out a few for your consideration.

I’m starting off with the straw Beauty Spot Suzi Tote which is just all kinds of lovely. Beach, market, shopping or gym, it’s going to be exactly the right thing for summer. It’s now £142 reduced from £285 HERE. You can dust this off and pull it out year after year and it’s still going to look relevant and glamorous.

Coin purses make the best birthday and Christmas presents – in past years I’ve almost bulk-bought Lulu Guinness coin purses in the sales to give as gifts and nobody has ever been disappointed with them. The cocktail theme is absolutely charming and perfect for a summer birthday or gift to self. The Blush Cosmopolitan Coin Purse was £75 but is now £30 HERE, so snap them up!

There’s a blue option too – Gin & Tonic – which I find just as delightful. It was £75 and is now £33 HERE. I think the quirky stuff is what this brand does best – there’s a vintage feel to a lot of the items, or maybe I mean bygone days – something nostalgic anyway.

Once again, I think this One In A Million zip top pouch is a buy-by-the-dozen, Christmas-all-sorted (imagine how smug you’ll feel in November) kind of a pleaser. It’s £29 from £65 HERE. Who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle and satin?

The grand finale is the perfect gardener gift – I love the Pear Tree Pouch for its antique sampler style – how pretty. It was £75 and is now £37 HERE. The pear stitching is one of Lulu’s original designs.

NB I’m using affiliate links as you can see but honestly, I don’t care if you buy anything or not. The Friday Treats are just for browsing and eye candy more than a shopping opportunity. Always feel free to see if you can find products cheaper elsewhere.
