Friday Treat : Let It Flow

[unpaid/affiliate] I’ve always been unsure of ‘flowy’ clothes – I like droopy but flowy is another thing altogether. It’s not the jumper than casually slips off your shoulder or the too big shirt, it’s more slippy and billowy than those things. However, I bought a pair of wide-leg, lightweight fabric trousers from Zara and I have worn them almost constantly (and have now bought the beige pair as well). The trousers are supposed to be too long and despite having to take them up, I’ve stuck to that and ensured that they very slightly trail over my trainers.

This H&M pair of crinkle fabric trousers are almost identical – the freedom of the air passing around and through is just divine especially on super hot days. All you need is a t-shirt, vest or shirt to complete (I wear a vest top with a linen shirt over the top with them). These are a snip at £19.99 HERE from H&M available in sizes XS to XXL.

This lemon maxi skirt is more summery than actual summer. Italian Riviera, anyone? If you have a white vest top, you have the perfect accessory for this elastic waist, linen blend skirt from H&M and better yet flip flops or leather sandals on your feet. It’s available in XXS to XXL, costs £32.99 HERE, and pass the limoncello before you slip it on.

I’d say this is the easiest wear top you’ll find to beat the heat and it’s £12.99. White trousers, shorts, skirts and jeans if you’re wondering what to pair it with but I can’t really think of anything it wouldn’t look good with. It’s nicely floaty without being faffy allowing plenty of air to pass and it just takes simplicity to another level. There’s a white version (a bit too see though for me) and a deeper blue version, all in sizes XS to XXL. As you can see in the main picture, you can have the sleeves rolled down for extra length or rolled up and short. It’s HERE.
