Freeze 24.7 Skin Glace Daily Detoxifying Cleanser and Mask

I really like the concept of a mask and cleanser in one; it seems like a good time-saver for days when you really can’t be bothered to do both. Skin Glace Daily Detoxifying Cleanser & Mask is a great little product from Freeze 24.7, for exactly those ‘can’t be bothered days’, but to my mind it isn’t quite ‘mask’ enough. The product itself looks like ectoplasm (see below) but feels very fresh on the skin. Once you’ve put it on to damp skin, it immediately starts foaming and while I’ve used foaming products before, I can guarantee this will out-foam all of them!

Ectoplasm

A little bit foamy…

A lot foamy!

You leave it on for two minutes and then wash off. It’s nicely skin softening and actually very good for oilier skin types that need to get rid of excess sebum. I like that it disolves make up, but two minutes is just a tad short and the effect just a little too ‘cleanser’ like for it to qualify in my mind as a mask. If I’d been shown it as just a cleanser, it would never have occured to me that it might also double as a mask, so think it is rather clever naming. Nonetheless, because of its freshness and wash-off requirements, this is a great one to use pre-morning shower to get skin super-cleansed and calm before applying make-up. It’s at Debenhams for £40 http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_123856000499?CMP=OTC-GOOGLEPS&tmcampid=28&tmad=c&sku=7069215

  1. Eva

Really reminds me of the Malin+Goetz detox face mask, it does the super foaming thing as well and functions as a cleanser too.

  2. a little pricey for my budget but really really nice

  3. It does look like ectoplasm! It’s a bit on the expensive side, but if it works well and lasts a while, it may be worth the investment.

Is it worth it for £40 and how much do you need for a good evening cleanse? Tempted but might try Ebay! xx
