Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb Cream

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Strangely, mauve shades seem to suit me when I didn’t think they would. It’s considered a cool shade and my tone is warm but anything with a mauve or greyish backdrop seems to sit well. So Mauve Wives by Fenty Beauty is an absolute treat being a milky mid-toned pink/mauve.

These are indeed creamy – it’s a perfect colour coating really … not an absolute smack of pigments but enough that it leaves a good colour mark with just a tiny bit of translucency. There is, obviously, loads of shine.

So, in the picture above, it’s Mauve Wives and Cookie Jar.

Above is Honey Waffles (what a great name for a dog!) and Fruit Snackz.

In the swatch from bottom to top you can see Fruit Snackz, Honey Waffles, Cookie Jar and Mauve Wives. I’m head scratching over the name Mauve Wives to be honest but loving the fact that these glosses don’t have a taste or a back-taste. They’re just plump and juicy glazes that sit nicely on the lips and that will do! They’re £17 HERE, non affiliate HERE and take a look at the mini bombs with a key chain holder HERE – I swear wearable beauty is about to be a thing because we’re not using handbags any more. Who wants to stuff their best lippie in a reusable carrier bag?

I’m betting Mauve Wives – Mob Wives haha! I much prefer a cool/grey toned lip and I struggle to find glosses that fit that these days so I will defo be giving these a look!

They’re not all that common really so I’m always pleased if I find one.

  2. These look fantastic, I love the look of them!

That IS a funny name. When I was a kid, I saw a nail polish at a department store called “Peachy Bosom”, another good one.
