Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

I spotted this chocolate bar palette the other day – I’ll link to the stockist later in the post – and despite the fact I should be well and truly over nudes by now because there have been so many (with still the MAC palettes to come) I really like the depths of shades in this one and the addition of that quirky little purple for no apparent reason!

If you look at it in more of a quad structure (it’s not exact), then the shades are all pretty useful and I’d have to stop myself buying the first group of four if it was a quad format; I’d wear all those shades over and over, particularly the buff colour. Taking things to another level in the foodie-beauty fad, the colours are actually infused with cocoa powder! I don’t have one here so I’m not sure if smells of chocolate or not (please, no) but if you’re going to go with a theme then you might as well go all out.

Too Faced are coming out with some pretty inventive products, lately, so keep an eye out for the later launch of the Candy Bar Pop Out Palette below that ‘pops out’ of it’s casing which then doubles as an iPhone cover. They did a Jingle All The Way Christmas version which is still in stock but not relevant now.  I don’t know if this one will launch in the UK – we struggle a bit for information on this brand here – but the Chocolate Bar Palette is £45 HERE.

I suspect the purple is a head nod to Cadbury.

  4. I love the colours but have so many nude palettes so won’t be getting this, however I do really love the packaging, looks small and compact. I’ve never actually tried eye shadows from two faced before.

I have been eyeing this! £45 seems like quite a lot though. I hope the candy bar palette comes out in the UK as it would be amazing for travel-looks like you could get a neutral and smoky look out of it, and it has your bronzer and blush in too. It would definitely help me with over packing for hols so fingers crossed!

Ooh, I really like this! Usually I find neutral palettes all look a bit samey and flat but this has a lovely mix of deeper colours as well as pale base shades.

  7. Im not loving the chocolate bar packaging but the colours in the larger Chocolate Bar Palette look gorgeous

I was looking at this on the Debenhams site earlier, it looks soo good but I have to be sensible (maybe Should is the word?) – I’ve got some Xmas money left but I’d quite like to make it last (I did get a bargain getting a pair of trainers, a Jasper Conran purse and a MAC lipstick for a little over £35 though!) – Oh I don’t know, I tend to lust over things and then decide I want them just when they go out of stock, it’s a skill

  10. Love the look of this Palette!!! I’ve never had anything from Too Faced before so this definitly needs to go on my list of things to buy. 🙂
    Lovely post.

  11. Really want to try it, I love all the colours!

I actually have this. I had to have it.Yes it does smell like chocolate.
The colours are lovely. I noticed the shimmery brown has little red glitter flicks in it.And the purple is gorgeous too. The only complaint is that the closure doesnt seem all that secure to me. I have a feeling that if you took it traveling with you. The palette would open. Ive seen some lovely looks from it.
