EYE ROCK

It’s exciting to see something that I think will be a big, big trend and these eye crystals from Nail Rock with Swarovski Elements really hit that spot. They’re strips which you place on the eye area – above or below – and the adhesive sheet peels away leaving perfectly placed crystals. The adhesive is dermatologist approved but it’s not advisable to wear over make up (such as oily foundation) as they won’t last as long. I’ve spoken to someone who did wear them over make up and they withstood an entire day, so it’s up to you to risk it or not – I’m not sure it’s so much of a benefit that they are billed as lasting several days – it’s not really one for the office. I just think we’ll see a lot of these in the run up to party season (see how I avoided the festive word there!) – I’d wear them. Would you? Even at £20 to £24, I still think I’d splash out for a really distinctive glam look.

They’ve just launched today at Asos.

Love them but doubt I’d wear them without make-up or foundation though especially if it’s night time party season wear.

  2. the top design looks absolutely gorgeous and if I had the money, I think I would want to splah out. This is totally the kind of thing i would want to splash my money on, which is really bad, cos i already know the critique is going to say ‘ nanana, you can pick some gemstones at 5p from the market and do it yourself’. I KNOW lol. but let me fancy this. I am allowed 🙂

i would totally wear this over makeup up. and would add a dot of eyelash glue. also if you have a bit of spirit gum (safe to use, drag queen swear by it to help to flatten their brows to conceal them and draw some higher eyebrows after) there is no way that these bad boys will fall out.

if this is still out around new years eve or christmas, my purse is in trouble x

  3. I love them!!! But dont have an event to go to to wear them :-S

  4. This is lovely, a great catwalk look.

They are really nice, but I think I’d rather DIY than pay that much money. It’ll take a bit longer with a rhinestone wheel and lash glue, but definitely save my wallet.

They look amazing (and im a bit surprised this hasnt been done before actually) but they are WAY too expensive for one look. Like others have said, i’d do DIY until the price goes beneath £5!
