Estelle & Thild Organic Skincare

I first saw this range at Cosmoprof earlier in the year where I’d gone to blog about what it’s like to be at a beauty trade fair. I never did get my bearings in the vast warehouse buildings that housed thousands of stands so frustratingly passed several stands more than once, and some, I guess, not at all! As an ‘official’ Cosmoprof blogger (I had my expenses met, by the way, but wasn’t paid to blog) we had good access to most things, but there’s always a little bit of disappointment at the stands when the brand owner realises that you aren’t there to buy anything. The thing I remember about the Estelle & Thild stand is that the women who were running it were nothing short of delightful. They took time to explain about the brand and to talk to us. So, in my book, they have brownie points no matter what!

That said, Estelle & Thild is a solidly eco-organic brand with some serious offerings for skin. It is no surprise that it has been snapped up by Urban Retreat at Harrods and their website, www.beautique.com. It shouldn’t, I know, make any difference at all, but the fact that it is a Swedish brand makes it seem *more* organic with connotations of fresh faced blondes and clean living! Devised by Pernilla Ronnberg, the range was inspired by her two daughters, Estelle and Mathilde for whom she wanted the purest possible skin care. It is considered to be one of Scandinavia’s most successful brands with over 400 outlets.

Split into five sections, Fragrance Free, Neroli, Rose Otto, Neroli Bergamot and Baby & Child, Pernilla has made good use of skin loving omegas and antioxidants as well as vitamins. Of course, the whole lot has the ECOCERT label. The packaging is clean, simple and reflects the purity of the range.

Do you know what, I’m very tempted to try this. I’m in the market for a whole new skincare regime because mine just isn’t cutting it anymore and I’m very drawn to these. x

I’m using more organic skincare so I’m pleased to find another brand. I’d not of heard of them until now.

    Thanks!

I got the Neroli facecream when I was in Sweden. My skin loves it more than my Dior products.
