I really don’t post about hair products all that often but of late, I’ve been getting some stellar hair products that are really performing well – including the Elvive Extraordinary Oil In Cream. I like Extraordinary Oil, but this is a step better, in my opinion. Basically, a leave in cream conditioner, I’ve been using it on the mid-lengths of my hair where there are layers that tend to frizz up or look a bit drier than the rest of my hair.
One of the Elvive Extraordinary Oil In Cream is for dry, rough hair and the other is for all types of hair – I’ve had a go at both and I have to say, I can’t really tell the difference between the two in terms of performance. Add a penny size amount (to start with) to the palm of your hands, put your palms together to spread it out and then work it though any ends or mid lengths. It sort of smells generically of hair salons; that kind of flowery, blow-dry-hair kind of smell, which is fine, and on my hair I could feel that it was softer and more bouncy straight away. I’ve mainly been using it as and when I notice a bit of frizzing, but I think it’s an excellent blow dry finishing product to put back any suppleness to the hair that drying takes out.
So far, I’m really impressed with it – it doesn’t seem to give any build up and it’s very light in the hair so no weighing down either. Elvive Extraordinary Oil In Cream seems to be seeping on to my ‘essentials’ list.
I’ve done a quick scoot around the internet and it doesn’t seem to have launched anywhere yet but it’s well worth looking out for.
