I featured this a while ago but it’s getting very close to launch date (April) so I thought I’d have another look at it. The New York In Bloom collection is giving Elizabeth Arden the update it needs and making it more accessible and appealing to a younger market. I really like Arden products but they cannot ride on the back of 8 Hour Cream for ever, so hopefully this collection will showcase what they can do with make up. I’ve picked out my favourite pieces but there are also three eye liners and a couple of nail polishes.
The two eye-palettes are the stand-outs I think..
These are pretty well priced at £23 each; the pink hued one is called Violet Bloom and the other is Viridian Bloom.
This is the bronzing powder; it’s quite shimmery but also not overwhelming in colour.. no brick dust here.
Again, I think this is reasonable for £27. It’s so delicately patterned and contains vitamin E, argan oil, Oleic and Linoleic acids to stop your skin feeling dry.
Keep your eyes peeled – it will be on sale in Boots and all Elizabeth Arden counters from April.
