e.l.f. x Jennifer Coolidge

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] The first drop of this collaboration with Jennifer Coolidge and e.l.f. sold out in very quick time indeed and we’ve had to wait a month for the second drop. What I love about it is that Jennifer Coolidge is an older woman having a great time with make up – and that’s what we should all be doing if we want to. The second thing is that it’s with affordable make up. Usually, the only time you see older women emerging in beauty ads is for anti-ageing and e.l.f. makes zero reference to age – it’s not relevant and they haven’t made any attempt to make it so.

e.l.f. Dirty Pillows Set with Jennifer Coolidge

The Dirty Pillows set is a five piece set that includes an etched mirror, a plumping gloss, a lipstick and a lipliner so you get a complete look. I’ve suddenly found some neutral ‘nude’ lipsticks that I really like after years in the neutral wilderness, and I’d include the Dirty Pillows Lipstick in those – somehow, it just suits me and I think it’s greatly enhanced by the gloss.

The lipstick is called Dirty Pillows, the gloss is called Swollen and the lip liner is called Fill Frontal so someone has obviously had some great fun with the naming!
