I’m super-super fussy over lip balms – not least because I seem to be allergic to a key component in most of them. I also have the same issues with lipstick (less so with gloss), so with a few exceptions, I can only wear once or twice before having to revert to balm. It’s not a serious allergy but I inevitably end up with dryness and a rough feeling on the skin – it doesn’t stop me wearing lip products, but I have to manage it. Dr PawPaw is a balm that I have no problem with at all – I already use the coral tint – so I’m delighted there’s another colour option.
It’s a very strong ‘blood’ red – if you squashed your tube, someone would call an ambulence. However, on the lip, it turns into a sheer tomato colour that’s not nearly as strong as it appears when it comes out.
