Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa Excelsa

I clearly missed the ‘there will be no fragrance but rose in 2016’ memo, because here’s another one! Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa Excelsa is one of the most beautiful rose fragrances I’ve ever come across – it’s quite lovely. It’s a combination of fresh and musky but I mainly get the freshness to be honest.

There’s also a sweetness to it along with a little bit of soap, and apparently, the blend uses African Dog Rose as a first in perfumery. I think we can’t help but notice that Dolce & Gabbana Dolce Rosa Excelsa is in one of the most lovely bottles of all time; pink frosted glass with a blooming rose as a lid. I’d buy a dressing table to display this on – it’s wasted in a bathroom cupboard!

I was so, ‘oh, no, not another rose fragrance’ when I opened this but it’s just so lovely. A little tip, in case you don’t know it, is to spritz your hairbrush with fragrance before you brush your hair so your tresses smell delish. I’m so doing that with this!

The 50ml version is £65 HERE – if you celebrate Valentine’s Day at all, print this out and shove it at your partner, or just buy it for yourself so you smell lovely for him or her.

I love roses, so I really want to smell this, I liked the other one in a similar bottle. This bottle is too pretty!
