I’m slowly getting around to swatching the new gel-effect polishes from Dior. I can’t swatch all of them but I am making my way through the new shades, starting with Mirage, which I like an awful lot better than I thought I would! It’s a kind of ashy raspberry shade and I was convinced it would make my tone look blue but somehow it manages to be rather a warm colour that doesn’t drain anything from my skin tone.
Mirage is one of the four ‘it shades’ chosen by Dior as fashion colours. I’m genuinely finding these new polishes a pleasure to use – the brush is thick so you can do one stroke and that’s the whole nail covered. Dior Vernis in Mirage launches in May along with 21 other shades.
