Diego Dalla Palma A/W 2014 is a really strong collection – small, but strong. I’d wear all of these in a heartbeat. It’s super-moody, rock chick and goth all at the same time. The most interesting piece in the collection is Ego Lipstick – a sheer, black lippie that will take down any other shade from bright to vampy. Actually, it gives a dose of shine and some shimmer so it’s one of those handy products that can literally alter your lip look with one swipe. Ego Lipstick is perfect for a change of make-up mood.
You can see in the Diego Dalla Palma A/W 2014 swatch that the lipstick is a wash of black. The other swatches are – from the top – Water Resistant Too Much Black Stick (£15). If you ever wanted that dramatic black lid in a formula that doesn’t move, here it is. The next swatch is Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick (£15.50 shade 109) – a dark raspberry shade with hyaluronic and aloe to counteract drying (I have to hold my hands up and say I haven’t tested this yet), then it’s Ego Lipstick, and lastly one of two Eyeshadow shades (£15 – shade 173). There’s another colour which actually I like better, but don’t have a sample of, in a dirty blueberry colour – very Chrissy Hynde.
The Diego Dalla Palma A/W 2014 collection launches in September at Marks & Spencer.
