delilah Wake Up Radiant Eye Perfector Review

[unpaid/sample] As full disclosure from the get-go, I’m not a fan of eye creams or concealers. I’ve got 59 year old skin and dark circles – I don’t care what anyone else thinks about them and I consider them a natural early warning system … if they’re particularly noticeable, it’s because I’m tired and today is not a good day to cross me.

This new product, delilah Wake Up Radiant Eye Perfector, is an amalgamation of concealer and eye cream using hyaluronic acid, micro algae and a moisturising complex. There’s a small amount of pigment. The formula is loose and cooling on the skin and its fluidity means you don’t have to be pulling the tender skin around and under the eyes to work it in. However, it really didn’t make any difference to my eye area – that I could see, anyway.

I have the product on my left eye – your right –  (and two different coloured blushers on – welcome to my world!) and I can see that there is some light bounce but that’s rather temporary and my right eye (driving side) has more skin creases anyway. I think if you’re using this as a refreshing eye cream, then great, but if you’re expecting some concealing, it’s not really going to happen in any meaningful way. At least, on me, it didn’t – maybe I’m just too far gone ;-)). It’s £28 HERE.

I always appreciate your fair and honest reviews, Jane! I also love your attitude that not everything needs to be “fixed” or “concealed”, in this case, that dark circles convey important meaning on their own.
