Darphin Gift Sets

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m very fond of Darphin – it feels like ‘proper’ skin care – maybe a bit glamorous even – that hasn’t lost its elegance with the influx of competition. I’d recommend their skin oils in a heart beat. Their seasonal offerings are so beautifully wrapped and have a bit of a Tiffany feel to them, so I wanted to flag them up. I’m a sucker for a gift set anyway but these are above and beyond.

Before I unwrapped this, let me assure you that the tissue paper was perfect – I forgot to photograph it and had to re-wrap it, hence the slight crinkles. This is the Retexturizing Botanical Jewels collection – I don’t really like the word retexturizing in the context of skin….it makes me think of road surfacing and anaglypta wall paper… but you’ll gather from that description it’s all about smoothing skin.

So, the full size product is the Radiance Cream (50ml) that uses botanicals such as centella Asiatica, white hibiscus and Japanese knotweed (funny how the only place we welcome that is in skin care!). It’s a lightweight cream that’s shiny and silky in texture that will smooth and brighten and feel very much that’s its doing the job at a very luxury level. The other two inclusions are the Perfecting Smoothing Serum (5ml) and Ideal Resource Renewing Pro-Vitamin C and E Oil Concentrate which comes in seven single capsules. The best way to use the smaller products is to treat your skin to a weekly facial using them, but other days you can just use the cream. There are several sets but this one is currently £43.40 instead of £62 and all the sets have 30% off (at the time of writing). You can find them HERE, non-affiliate HERE. These would be my pick for anyone who adores skin care but doesn’t often treat themselves.
