Coconuts from Korres

This stuff is just total bliss for me – I love a coconut scented product and these are absolutely delicious. The body milk is not too thick – a lightweight lotion good for summer and leaves a trace of coconut scent on the skin that makes me want to pack my bags and leave for a beach. Any beach. The shower gel is equally lovely; gentle on the skin and not at all drying, although I still wrestle with what the exact point is of a shower gel. If I had to commit to paying good money for a product that gets rinsed away the second you apply at and watch it disappear down the plug hole before it’s even raised a bubble, then I’d definitely make it this one!

Gorgeous, in my view, for summer birthday gifts and a holiday treat before you go all retro and tuck into a Pina Colada. The shower gel is £7.50 and the body milk is £9.50 and it launches in July.

I have been using the Japanese rose shower gel. I like it because it smells nice, it doesn’t make me itch, I can get away withot a body lotion afterwards, it lathers well with a flannel, and there’s no scummy residue left on the bath so I don’t need to clean the bath after I’ve cleaned me. I step away from the water while I get to work with my flannel.

Just discovered Korres in my local Waitrose. I started with the hand cream. My hands are usually ok in the Summer but this year they have been dry and sore and my usual cream wasn’t working. I tried the Thyme Honey hand cream out of desperation and it’s worked brilliantly. A bit heavy for day time but a dollop before bed works well.

Help Greece buy more Korres 🙂

  6. Now this I want to try!! I am in need of a lush (but not too expensive) shower gel. I’ve never tried Korres (and I’d have to sniff the coconut to see if that was “the scent” for me) but after reading this review…now I’m intrigued by Korres. I feel like I’ve heard about the brand for ages but not maybe read enough reviews to form an opinion?
