[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s definitely fragrance time of year – I forgot that February brings a whole slew of new releases so prepare for more incoming! Today, it’s Coach Love – it’s such a stunning bottle, especially when the light beams through it and casts a red lit shadow.
This fragrance starts with fruit – my personal preference for fruits in fragrance is citrus so this definitely isn’t the fragrance for me because it’s too berry-ish. However, if you love a strawberry note, Coach Love will make you very happy indeed. It’s definitely juicy, fabulously optimistic and a perfume for days when you want to take your mood up a notch or two.
It’s not a complicated fragrance – strawberries, red rose and cedarwood are the predominant notes. It’s reminding me of a just-set strawberry jelly both in its appearance and in its scent – charming, sweet and anticipatory. For all its jollity, I love the fact that Coach references its backstory in leather (it was founded in 1941, despite the coach and horses on the emblem!) where it once was known as the Original American House of Leather. It’s £39 for 30ml HERE.
