I remember seeing these when I did a flying visit to Paris last year. At the time, they were in sample tubes and nobody could really work out what they were going to be!
This is how they looked back then! It’s funny, but I’ve kept thinking about how they’d turn out, and now I know. I Periscoped these yesterday (HERE if you want to see) and the first question I was asked about Clinique Pop Lacquer is if it’s sticky. I can categorically say it is not. In fact, anything but. It feels more of an oil-gel type formula than anything, in that there is that comfy slip feel on the lips, and the coverage is full. I think you’ll be surprised at just now nice the texture is – one of those ‘you have to feel it to believe it’ kind of things.
The two shades I have here are Lava Pop (red) and Love Pop, but there are 10 shades heading our way. As you can see, the finish is a patent one and for anyone who is thoroughly tired of a matte lip (i.e. me), Clinique Pop Lacquer is the antidote. They’re £16 each and on 1st February launch at Harrods (I will flag it up) before heading to Clinique counters in March.
