Cinq Mondes Five Flowers Micellar Water

It’s a very long time since I’ve used a cream cleanser; I’m a total convert to Micellar waters which are an oil-in-water solution that removes all make up. My skin is normal to dry, and occasionally I find one that isn’t quite oily enough and can leave my complexion feeling a little bit dry. Not so this beautiful organic formula from Cinq Mondes. Five Flowers Micellar Water smells really fresh and is just a delight to use – you can even feel its lightness on your skin – once you press a soaked cotton pad to your skin you can actually tell that it is incredibly gentle as it feels so soft.. it’s difficult to describe the feeling of a liquid so I’m getting as near as I can and hope you understand what I mean.

The water swiped away all traces of make up with really no problem at all. The entire Cinq Mondes range is a real favourite of mine because they are both ethical and adventurous with ingredients. Five Flowers contains gardenia, hibiscus, frangipani, ylang ylang and lotus extracts to soften and clean the skin. It’s delicious but pricy at EU29 but definitely a cleansing treat and a very good introduction to micellars.

  1. Sounds amazing! From your review, I’m sold 😉 I also prefer an oil based cleanser for my skin type. I’m travelling to Spain for the summer, going to see if I can find it there, wish me luck.

This sounds lovely, I’ve got the bioderm & Nuxe on the go at the moment, I think the Nuxe just has the edge…I’m also tempted by the Decleor one, good job I’m skint really!

  3. This sounds like a fab product, especially that I love everything with frangipani. Have to say that I’ve never tried this brand
