Chen Man for MAC

Chinese photographer, Chen Man has really made her mark on the MAC collection. I didn’t know her work until I researched a little bit, but it is well worth googling because she takes amazing photos. Known for her use of 3D, she’s fast becoming one of the most sought after photographers for fashion and style work.

It’s a long time since I’ve used any MAC at all, and I found the Mineralize darker purply shade really difficult to blend, yet the lighter, glimmer shade really easy! The Lipglass is lovely.. a real plastic baby pink, and the Glitter is divine. Although I am absolutely certain it will go everywhere… !


I’m now completely obsessed with Chen Man’s work; here’s an example below and I think once you see her style, you ‘get’ the range, but without any prior knowledge you might wonder what it’s all about. All of which just goes to show that you can’t assume everyone will be as ahead of or on-trend as MAC trend-hunters and a little background on the talent used to bring us up to speed would be good.
