I can’t remember if I’ve ever mentioned that when Mr BBB (before he was Mr BBB) brought me back a bottle of Chanel No. 5 from a work trip. I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a factor in whether to say yes or no the proposal that came some months later (because, yes, I’m that shallow). So, I can’t resist any excuse to talk about this fragrance because it’s sealed in my heart.
On 30th October, Chanel are releasing two mini sizes – 35ml – of both Chanel No.5 and Chanel No. 5 Eau Premiere – perfect to pop in your handbag or for travel. They’re £49 each. It’s not big news, but what is – quite literally – is that Chanel are also releasing the Parfum version of No.5 (rather than EDT) in a 900ml bottle in a crystal faceted version. There will be only 50 available, in numbered bottles.
The Chanel team haven’t even given me the price on this so I’m expecting it’s a remortgage job. What do you reckon? £10K? We can have a guessing game and I’ll try and find out what it is.
