Burberry Spring 2016 Nails

Burberry has gone all unexpected for Spring 2016 with a collection that’s interesting and glam. Three shades, Stone, Black Cherry and Optic White. I’m wearing Stone at the moment and its sort of clay-ish – as statement as a nude polish can get with plenty of pigment so there’s no see-though. I would say though, that on an actual nail, rather than a nail wheel, it has a slightly more yellow tone to it, so if you want that true stone look, do an undercoat of white.

I always think that long lid is a mistake – it seems at first glance that you’re getting hardly any polish. I’m also wondering whether Burberry has had a formula change. These are far easier to use – not so treacle-y – and the staying power so far is not to be faulted.

I’m looking forward to trying Optic White – although I don’t know about white nails; can’t quite reconcile them to be honest, and Black Cherry is an easy wear with just about anything. I suppose maybe it is Spring.. but Burberry Spring where there is a trenchcoat season, not a flower season! They’re £15 each HERE.

  1. Not sure about the white but I love the other two shades! I love the packaging too x

  2. Beautiful shades! They’re actually not too bad price point wise either. I mean they’re not cheap but it’s always nice to add some luxury to your beauty collection without spending a bomb! Stone is lovely.
