Bumble & Bumble All Style Blow Dry

I think that Bumble & Bumble All Style Blow Dry is as close as you can get to a balm formula dry shampoo. Although it’s a catch-all for medium and fine hair-types, it’s got oil absorbing powders in it to deal with any excess grease. The oil-absorbing powders are what makes this styling product rather special I think – you know when you know that but for those oily roots your hair could easily go another day? Well, it’s to help make your hair last to that ‘other’ day.

The actual formula feels very light, with a hint of a powder finish (not drying, more softening) and it smells fresh rather than sweet or floral. If you just want to tackle roots, then you apply it to your fingertips and massage through, but otherwise, a ten pence sized dollop smoothed over your hands before your blow dry and a quick run through the strands helps to give sleekness. Bumble & Bumble All Style Blow Dry will also give you some volume if you apply to the roots – oily roots can cause a bit of style drop. I don’t think it’s going to save very oily hair.. mild oiliness, yes.

It’s not a miracle, but it’s tackling oily roots in a different way and it’s great to see some innovation in that area. Even if you don’t, like me, have oil prone hair, Bumble & Bumble All Style Blow Dry contains UVA and UVB filters as well as a heat protecting formula to save you from straightner frazzle.

You can find it starting at £12 HERE.

  1. My hair gets too oily too quick, it’s a nightmare so I might have to give this a go and really put it to the test! Anything that can get me just one more day with my hair would be amazing!
