Bourjois 10 Days Enamel

Loving this blue polish from the new Bourjois 10 Days Nail Enamel – it’s rather uninspiringly called No.18. Meh. It’s part of a very, very colourful line up of 12 shades all similarly numbered. I really like the polish though, despite its lacklustre moniker, but does it last the full 10 days? The fine print says that it lasts *with touch-ups*, and mine has been on for a full six days and is showing wear at the tips but nowhere else. So, with the said touch-ups I’m fully prepared to believe that it goes the course. The brush is a little bit fiddly I have to say – it’s slightly angled which is meant to make things easier I think for touch-ups, but in my case, just made it a little bit more difficult. But I can’t knock the shade – it’s got greyish undertones and edges between a dark denim and a grey – lovely. I haven’t touched up at all but it’s easy to see that if I had it would look as pristine as the day I put it on, albeit slightly less shiny.

Freshly Applied.

Day Six.

I wore the orangey-pink No.16 on my toes for far more than ten days – it did not move, and the only reason I had to change it was because my nails had grown leaving an unsightly gap between the cuticle and the polish.

Love the colour of this. I think even 6 days is pretty impressive, I usually only get 2 days before my tips start to wear even with long lasting polish.

  2. Thanks for this post. I had seen these on display at Superdrug and really liked these two colours in particular, but I was disappointed by their normal formula a few years ago. May have to pick these up now! x
