A swanky bottle representing the good luck Nauratan bracelets presented to brides in Rajasthan contains a truly delicious perfume. Jaipur Bracelet is what I call a ‘grown up’ scent, so it has sweet elements but cut beautifully by woody notes; it’s very, very feminine and smells expensive! The notes include Violet Leaf, Verbena Basil, Hyacinth and Lily of The Valley – I think I can most recognise Lily of the Valley. I’m not a perfume expert so it really boils down to personal preference, but it’s truly, truly pretty to wear and cleanly floral without being interfered with any gourmande (bleugh) notes.
One tiny complaint; the lid is very fiddly and could I get it back on? No.
Boucheron Jaipur Bracelet is on sale from March at Harrods.
