The Body Shop Scents of The World

Sometimes I despair at the price of fragrances; I’ve written before about the phenomenal mark-ups on perfume (how do you think they pay for all those famous campaign faces?) so it’s with pleasure that I introduce The Body Shop’s Scents of The World containing organic essences and natural ingredients. Actually, there is whole range, including body lotion, body wash and pefume oils, but the 50ml EDTs are £15.

In a line-up of delicious sounding aromas, I love the fact that these are reasonably priced and far more affordable than most yet still have some imagination to them. Choose from Amazonian Wild Lily, Madagascan Vanilla Flower, Japanese Cherry Blossom, Indian Night Jasmine and Atlas Mountain Rose.

They launch in August.

  1. Indian Night Jasmine is calling my name! 🙂

  2. Well, I always look for the quality of the fragrance than the price before buying it.. If both are worth it, then I will buy the product..

I wonder how long they last. Perfume is soo expensive. I don’t mind forking out for a good EDP because they actually stick around but when you get charged £40 for an EDT that you can smell for a while and then fades away. I might invest in a few of these, I neeeeed that cherry blossom one! <3

Japanese Cherry Blossom sounds amazing. I think the body shop is a really great shop for stuff like this and I love anything organic 🙂
I hope they have these in the store near me.

Atlas Mountain Rose will be my must buy from these. Memories of Marrakech!! I can’t wait! Wish they could be pre-ordered!!

arent those the same ones the body shop always had?
i remember buying japanese cherry blossom about 5years ago and i had the vanilla scent even before that.
they’re really nice-the perfume oils last even longer than the alcohol based sprays.

  7. Hi Mrs Ryan.. oddly enough when I check on line there is already Japanese Cherry Blossom products so I will investigate further.. I think press release is misleading if they are just re-releases. Thanks for pointing it out.

Hi guys, Body Shop minion here. In relation to a few of the comments Japanese Cherry Blossom IS an existing fragrance – to my knowledge the new one has the same name but differs slightly in smell and packaging. Same with the vanilla – the packaging and scent is changing slightly. You will also find that at christmas vanilla products are also released as a limited edition, but these are also different in smell.

Currently stocked also are Neroli Jasmine and Moroccan Rose – again, slight differences but to my knowledge the scents are going to be totally different on the new products.
