I’ve had several questions about the Benefit Advent Calendar 2014 – the sale of this is done in such a way that it is really confusing, so I’ve been to Benefit HQ to get to the bottom of how to possibly get your hands on one if you missed the on-line launch which has long since sold out.
Bottom line is, that Benefit Stores and some Debenhams stores are taking wait-lists – once people knew there was a counter date, they’ve been going into stores to reserve. If any reserved calendars are not collected on either 1st or 2nd November (remember, these are are not yet paid for) they will go on general sale. So, basically you can still reserve a calendar and there is quite good availability in some parts of the country.
Main availability is at Benefit stores where there are still some wait list spaces at most stores (none left at Farnham and minimal availability in St Albans and Loughton – definitely wait-list spaces available at Covent Garden store). I know that the Cork and Dublin Debenhams stores have plenty of availability but I don’t know full availability across the country.
So, to summarise, the best best is to call your nearest store or Benefit Boutique and ask to be put on the wait-list. The next best thing is to head there on 3rd November to see if anyone hasn’t collected and paid. It’s my advice that if you want to get hold of one you ring your nearest Benefit store or counter at Debenhams and get your name down pretty quickly.
I am hoping that the Benefit Advent Calendar 2015 goes more smoothly – Benefit are getting a calendar drama reputation!
