A couple of brief stops at Moroccan pharmacies and I found something of a recurring theme – virginity. Along with the I Love Garlic Fade Out Cream, the tubes of Ostrich Fat and the Vitamin C Whitening Peeling Cream that promises to ‘dispel horniness in 30 seconds’, I could not figure out quite whether the Tightening Lady Virgin Liquid was for the face so you look young and virginal or whether it was for somewhere else entirely! The Virginity Soap (to get rid of bacteria and unpleasant odours) sat alongside Passion Soap and Seduction Soap. It seems any mood is catered for with lather.

My Mum lives in Oman and gave me a bar of virgin soap as a present on my wedding day! Tongue in cheek of course as my 9 month old was with us on the day.

Great post. I am going to approach Dr Martin (Amazon?) for samples! 😉

I think I might die if I don’t get my hands on Tightening Lady Virgin Liquid….that is going to look SO great in the bathroom cabinet.
I can imagine the dinner party conversations right now 😉
What in the heck is the Ostrich fat used for?!

I’ll have to look for this stuff in my local grocery store in Oman…I don’t think that Carrefour sells this, though!

This is not really funny, this is gross. Reminds me of FGM, which is really not funny.

in english you have virgo as a sign, virgenia as a place/person’s name…
in arabic a’tha is the virgo sign… you can also find women with the name a’thra..
a’thra is the Arabic equivalent of virgin… and what you see here is basically an example of engrish.
not sure what am talking about? google engrish funny and enjoy ;P
