Even though I’ve seen this many times – and at all stages from idea to reality – my stomach still flips! Keeping it a secret has been beyond hard! Givenchy has been a recurring theme in my beauty line-up since I started writing about beauty eons ago; way before blogs were even born.
To pick out my favourites for a limited edition 1000 first ever #BBBGivenchy Iconic Beauty Box was tougher than you might think – I wanted to include iconic products that I could be sure that BBB readers would absolutely love to get a proper taster of the Givenchy brand.
The #BBBGivenchy Iconic Box is all wrapped up in beautiful black Givenchy signature tissue, but it’s what’s inside that counts. I will just tell you that the packing team wore white gloves to put this one together so your white, glossy box and all the contents are absolutely pristine.

So, let’s begin. First of all, there are two fragrance samples, Givenchy Dahlia Divin with a golden blotter and all wrapped in a golden organza bag. This is a beautiful fragrance for going in to spring, full of floral and fruity notes that dry down to a sensual, skin scent. The second fragrance sample is also similarly wrapped, only this time we’ve gone dark and mysterious for Gentlemen Only, a fusion of spices and woods, in black organza and a black blotter. Each box also contains a gift for BBB readers from Givenchy – either a heart shaped coin purse like the one above OR a black Givenchy notebook. It’s lucky dip on that one but either way, I think you’ll love it.
If you’ve never tried the Hydra Sparkling range, it’s all about luminous, hydrated skin. Hydra Sparkling Luminescence Moisturizing Cream (normal to combination, 5ml) is a gel like formula that instantly wakes up your complexion, while Hydra Sparkling Nude Look BB Cream (5ml) is smoothing and hydrating with SPF30. I’ve said in the accompanying brochure that it’s a ‘my skin but better’ BB – beautiful, light coverage that perfects the skin tone. One of my all time favourite Givenchy products is Hydra Sparkling One Minute Glow Powder, so we have a sachet of that that should last you two or three goes. It’s a staple in my bathroom for days when my skin needs a brightening boost. The #BBBGivenchy Iconic Box wouldn’t be complete without the next generation version of Phenomen’Eyes Mascara, so there’s a mini size sample of that, along with the most gorgeous mini-lipstick I’ve ever come across, in the Le Rouge formula. I’ve chosen a suit-all shade – Rose Dressing.
Finally, inside the #BBBGivenchy Iconic Box, you’ll find what’s known as a dramming bottle – a sample bottle that you can take to your nearest Givenchy counter to be colour matched so you know exactly what shade suits you best. If you decide to do this, you are also invited for a free make-over at counter. In a previous post, I talked about my experience of a Givenchy make over – I genuinely loved it – and Givenchy counters offer a full menu with everything from a Flash Beauty Touch Up to a one-t0-one Make Up Lesson that lasts 30-40 minutes.
