Bath & Body Works Kitchen Mandarin Hand Wash Review

[unpaid/purchase] I was at Westfield Stratford at the weekend with Max just doing some browsing and I passed a Bath & Body Works that I didn’t even know existed. When we walked in, I was immediately reminded of shopping in the USA – it smells exactly the same as Victoria’s Secret and exactly the same as Williams Sonoma when they’ve got the candles full blast. It’s a kind of cinnamon-ish, vanilla, sweet and yes, a bit of a cloying aroma that I really can’t say that I like. So, I didn’t think I could even stay in the shop, never mind browse! To be fair, they had all their Christmas items on sale with candles everywhere, so maybe it’s not always quite that intense.

But then I discovered Kitchen Mandarin foaming hand wash and it’s just such a joyful blast of citrus – uplifting, happy and sharp-sweet – that I couldn’t leave it sitting on the shelf. I like a foam wash better than a liquid one and while clearly this foam doesn’t have much form to it (which indicates a weaker formula), it will absolutely do when it smells this good.

At £10, the Bath & Body Works Kitchen Mandarin Foam Wash is bringing me a lot of happiness already – definitely worth the tenner for bringing the pleasure to a boring chore like hand washing. You can find it HERE if you’re looking for a bit of winter cheer. Bath & Body Works sells through Next in the UK and there is currently an offer of three of these for £19.50 (it’s £4.95 shipping, but still a saving) and Kitchen Lemon would be my top pick, followed by Spearmint Eucalyptus.

The link takes you to the Kitchen Mandarin gel hand wash, they only seem to have the Kitchen Lemon in the foaming variety.
