It’s good to see a new mascara in the less pricey category – the Barry M That’s How I Roll Mascara is designed to lift and curl lashes. And, yes it does. It’s mega-curl, but the shape of the brush definitely pushes lashes upwards, and the curl you end up with I think depends upon the length of your lashes in the first place.

It has slightly shorter bristles on one side and graduates to longer on the other – the purpose of this is to kind of ‘roll’ it through the lashes to get the swept upwards and coated. It took me 3 coats to get a ‘full’ look alongside the upward look, but it does definitely do the job. Two coats gives you a spiked lash look which I like for day rather than a fat look. In terms of performance, I wore it lastnight and it stayed true the whole evening.

The Barry M That’s How I Roll Mascara is £4.99 and launches on 10th Feb (Superdrug… Boots soon after) – one to look out for if you’ve over-done the January sales, budget wise!

Ooh this is exciting! I love their Showgirl mascara and was looking to buy a new tube but I think I’ll hold out and wait for this to be launched instead now 🙂
