Loving the look of these lip palettes that launch at Harvey Nichols in the first week of March. Apparantly, they are the first ever lipstains to start as a powder colour – you need to add water to activate, meaning more control over coverage and intensity. They’re £19 each, and you can pick from Petunia Pink/Raspberry Red or Plum Berry/Brown Sugar.

This reminds me of a very, very old CoverGirl lip product I had when I was very young – it was a powder and a wax, and you mixed them together to make a lip colour. Mine was fuscia. It didn’t look very good! These look much more interesting 🙂

Lord – I remember those old powder lip colours. I thought they were a great idea. I think I had a frosty fuscia one too.
Now why did I think the Balm was a mid price range? Have the prices been specially jacked up for the UK?
