Aveda Hand Relief Night Renewal Serum

Hand Serum
Hand Serum

I felt like punching the air when this arrived this morning – an overnight hand serum that smells absolutely beautiful! Hand serums are harder than you might think to find – a concentrate of ingredients overnight is exactly what’s needed to make the difference if you’re looking for a little hand rejuvenation.

Aveda Hand Relief Night Renewal Serum is all about reducing fine lines and dark spots but if you love a happy scent, it has that in overload. The fragrance is a burst of fresh orange with a backdrop of lavandin and eucalyptus and an absolute pleasure to use. The formula is light and silky – no greasiness at all. The main ingredient is Andiroba (sustainably harvested) containing unsaturated fatty acids and linoleic acid.

I have one hand cream that I’m welded to – Hand Chemistry – but don’t have any hand serums in my arsenal so I’m really looking forward to trying this out. Aveda Hand Relief Night Renewal Serum is £25 HERE.

  1. I know Jill Stuart makes one…but everytime I see it at the shop I can’t help but wonder seriously, do we really need a serum for hands?! What a hand cream (no matter light or heavy textured) won’t be able to do?

I use the Hand Chemistry Hyaluronic gel as a serum under the regular Hand Chemistry at night. Works a treat. But I will try the Aveda one too.

  3. This sounds lovely. Need to try Hand Chemistry. Have you tried bodhi & birch Lime Blossom Protecting Hand Serum – its very good.

Hi Jane, I would love to see a review on this. I’ve noticed my hands are looked aged! Would you say the Hands Chemistry offers any anti-ageing benefits over a regular hand-cream? Would I see a noticeable difference?
    Thanks
