I’m totally impressed with these double-ended lip lacquers! At one end of Autograph Ultimate Wear Long Lasting Lip Lacquer there’s a creamy colour that dries on the lip. It’s a nice, solid block of colour but the shades are toned down a little bit so they’re not mega-bright. At the other end is a clear shine that doesn’t disappear the minute you’ve applied it.

The chances are that you’ll finish the gloss end before the sheen because you’ll need very little of that – one quick slick really does go a long way, so you can buy a refill instead of having to purchase the entire thing all over again. You can easily wear the clear gloss on its own, but the cream lip colour needs the oomph of the gloss to stop it looking dry.

So, a selection of colours from right to left: Bright Coral, Cafe, Lacquer Red, Oxblood, Dusted Mauve and Rose Shine.  Autograph Ultimate Wear Long Lasting Lip Lacquers are £10 each and the shine refill is £7.50. You can find them HERE.

Aren’t these just like the Mac Pro Longwear ones that cost about £17.50?

Long time ago I had a red one from No.7 I used it all thd time and then they took it away (I also lost it on a night out and never found something close). I need to investigate these urgently.

  3. These look exactly like tne no7 ones, same shades and packaging too. The no7 red one is amazing though, literally lasts all day

Yes, you’re impressed….the question is are they really long wear? Do they stain the lips enough to survive a drink or two or a snack?

Jan I felt they did have long-wear – certainly a couple of hours, but I didn’t put them through the full three courses! I have trouble keeping any lipstick on for any length of time, even long-wear, but I definitely felt that it was doing better than most.
