[unpaid/sample] I think you can get a fair idea of a brand by their lip balm. Balms are often the entry point, price wise, to a brand and believe me, plenty of brands don’t even bother because the margins aren’t there. But those that do, and do it properly with as much care and attention as any other skin care product (- you can bang them out cheap as chips, lets face it) speaks to the fact they treat lips as skin and offer the same respect.
I suppose you would say the texture is runny honey-ish but without the stickiness. It’s tasteless (yay) and has only the mildest fragrance from eucalyptus, bergamot, marjoram and juniper berries. Hyaluronic acid, jojoba oi, angelica leaf and rice ferment do the heavy lifting in terms of hydrating and smoothing.
It’s definitely not at budget buy at £18 HERE but it’s Japanese skin care at its best. I’d use it as a night mask actually – it’s got great adherence so would work very well for an overnight revive.
