I still can’t believe I’ve actually met Anna Sui – imagine that! She came over to the UK when her range launched onto ASOS. But, I’ve been a long time fan since discovering her lip gloss rings in New York several years ago. I still have one from that NY trip which must be at least 8 years old because it’s a long time since I’ve been to NY. The Anna Sui Holiday Sweets Collection is a bit of a return to the wonder of make-up – just the joy of being pretty and whimsical for no other reason than that she can make them so.
We have two circular tubs loosely based around fairy tales, and each one has a giant satin bow on the top. Inside the tubs are….
… these little pots of pretty. But wait til you see what’s inside!

The lip jelly has me fascinated – little dots of colour suspended in a clear jelly balm.

The Anna Sui Holiday Sweets Collection launches onto ASOS in November, and they’re £35 each. It’s worth noting that the clear lip jelly is combined with a treatment oil so it has a watery, melty texture and also contains rosa canina fruit oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil and olive oil. So not just a tub of prettiness.. you’ll actually get some proper lip hydration with this.
