Ameliorate Transforming Scalp Serum Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Before this post is out, you’ll know a lot more about my dandruff issues than you probably want to. I get dandruff periodically – I can go for months with a scalp in tip top condition and then suddenly, the itchy scalp and the snow storm. I could feel things had been building to a big shed and I couldn’t find any dandruff shampoo (The Body Shop Ginger is a favourite, but I never underestimate the power of Head & Shoulders). What I did manage to unearth is a sample of Ameliorate Transforming Scalp Serum.

I forgot that it had a nozzle so kept wondering why it was so difficult to apply so I have to delete any commentary about application and put it down to my incompetence. This is an overnight treatment – OR a day when you’re not going anywhere treatment. The brand Ameliorate is built around the enzymatic exfoliant, lactic acid, which they’ve combined with hydrating factors such as urea and sodium lactate to create their own formula LaH6 – conveniently sciency sounding but extremely effective.

Can I just say that I never use filters and instead rely on natural light – this is what a bad light and no make up looks like and it’s a useful contrast to other pictures you see of me. I don’t love it but it does give you a good indication of the fluidity of the serum. My scalp has a particularly itchy patch at the back of my head – scratching only worsens it and in fact, I’d made it bleed slightly because it was driving me mad. Two scalp treatments later, it’s all gone. There is no itchiness at all. And no dandruff. So, I’m sold, despite the fact that it makes your hair look dreadful for a solid few hours and it’s just a bit too fluid for comfort (don’t wear your best cashmere when you apply).  There is some frankincense extract which, if you are super sensitive to essentials, you might find problematic but other than that it’s oats and celery extract and so on holding things together. Ameliorate Transforming Scalp Serum is usually £20 but I’ve found it for £14 HERE. It’s a strong recommend from me for tight, itchy and flaky scalps. Coming up tomorrow is some shampoo for grey hair and it’s what I used after rinsing Ameliorate Transforming Scalp Serum so you’ll see the look of my hair in that.
