[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I love All Saints – it’s taken fashion grunge and given it a style make-over; never has edgy looked so desirable as when the All Saints designers get a hold of it, turn it into myriad shades of neutral and add a bit of chiffon and lace or buckles and tassels. I mean, it’s gorgeous.
My big fashion lust has always been an All Saints leather jacket and one of my favourite owned items of clothing is a pair of black silk trousers that I have worn nearly to rags. I always go into an All Saints if I pass because I’d love to get another pair (they’re a little, er, snug now) the same or nearly the same but they’ve somehow never come around again.
You’ll know the All Saints shop style – muted fabrics, wooden floor boards, metal fittings, vintage sewing machines and lighting that’s so on brand that if you only saw the lights, you’d know it was All Saints. Their latest fragrance, All Saints Sunset Riot Intense, is all of that bottled. The juice is embracing with light and shade, warm with amber and alive with jasmine. It smells as it looks – leather wrapped and weathered metals – before softening down to a smoky cedarwood and musk. I’d say it’s just a tad on the amber side for me but if you love the sensuality of that note then it’s 100% for you. It’s a very clever interpretation of the All Saints brand which likes to put unexpected textures together to form a cohesive effect. Sunset Riot Intense – same. The fragrance starts at £40 HERE.
