#AD Marks & Spencer High Neck Shirt

Marks & Spencer High Neck Shirt

Bearing in mind that I love a polo neck and I also love a shirt, this blend of the two from M&S could not be more perfect. It’s basically a blouse with a loose polo style neck. There’s something quite reassuring about something high on the neck but you’re quite often in frumpy territory with that style.

I teamed mine with a black blazer and the inevitable (for me) black waxed skinnies with high ankle boots but a long black cardi would also be a more casual way to wear. The top feels more Zara than M&S to be honest and although I thought I was reaching the tail end of my animal print obsession, evidence points to that fact that I clearly haven’t!

Terrible picture but I also love it with my coat from Uniqlo. There is also a black and white spotted version but I think the colourway on this is warmer and better for my tone – the main thing I like so much is the fact that it’s completely ageless – you could wear it from 18 to 108 and you’d still look spot on for meetings, evenings out or just super sharp in the office. I can’t quibble at all at the £29.50 price tag HERE and it’s available in sizes 10-24. These sold out in all but the biggest sizes over the weekend (on-line) and they’ve literally just restocked so I’d advise sooner rather than later if you fancy it.

Gorgeous…..you have such an eye for what suits you. You look really fabulous (and M&S might ponder their selection of models too….they manage to render every piece so lifeless!) Très fab later too
