I bought this shirt a few weeks back in Fenwick – so far, it’s my favourite shirt – it might even be a lifetime favourite shirt! The little gold threads you can see are so light catching that it literally glimmers in the sun. They’re set on an off-white background so its not too gleamy. Plus, it’s nice and roomy so you can wear it out, over or in and it still looks effortlessly stylish (well, I like to think so!). Sessun is a French brand, new to me, and when I spotted this shirt, it was one of those ‘have to have it no matter the price’ (although it’s a slightly wince making £130) moments and a day doesn’t go by when I don’t want to be wearing it!
So far, I’ve teamed it with jeans and sunglasses on sunny days, but I’ve also worn it with black skinnies and black boots. I will warn you though that the foil threads sets off security alarms when you go through the arch of doom to get airside at the airport, so it may not be the most practical thing for travelling unless you like a little pre-holiday pat down. It’s HERE.
I’ve also just bought a pair of the Converse Wedge Trainers – they are so comfortable – the wedge is high enough to give you a little height but not so high that you can’t walk. I’m obsessed with them but aware that the laces are still too white so I’m wearing them a lot to grubby them up! I’d completely recommend them for the lift and leg definition they give without knackering your feet! They’re £60 HERE.
