Accessory Wednesday: Bunny Necklaces

Vintage Bunny

I’ve been scouring the internet for sweet bunny stuff (my daughter was obsessed with rabbits when she was little so it’s stuck with me – I always associate anything rabbity with her) and it’s been quite the adventure. Let me tell you, there are some pretty awful rabbit representations out there! Mostly, jewellers try to do something a bit clever and the result ends up looking like freshly hung game around your neck, not a wholesome, cute.. and crucially.. LIVE bunny! Anyway, I love this first one best of all.. it’s a tiny gold representation of the Sylvac bunnies that were made in the 1930’s and are very collectable now. The price is from £100 (gold, rose gold and silver options) and you can get an initial engraved on the bottom. They’re HERE.

Bunny Necklace

This is the Alex Monroe version – a much more sophisticated bunny, all alert and ready to go. There’s so much detail in Alex Monroe jewellery – I have a beautiful bird necklace that I love. This bunny is £120 in silver or gold plate HERE.

Finally, a little Etsy find – and I love this for being quirky and different. It’s gold plate and $27 (international shipping) but listed as only one left….. hurry! It’s HERE.

I have quite a few pieces from Alexis Dove; including the bunny studs and everything is excellent quality. I love her jewellery.

I love the Alexis Dove bunny (fun fact, my studio is next to the studio of the Alexis Dove jeweller! And her shop is just down the road) I have a beautiful lion pendant from her- it’s my first real piece of expensive jewellery and I love it

  5. I love the option of engraving that necklace! Simple but so effective!
