Minus 417 Dead Sea Cosmetics

I’m so flipping impressed with this Recovery Mud Mask that I first saw at Cosmoprof back in the spring. While it is pretty black and gunky, it’s got a fruity aroma that is lovely and once you’ve taken it off your skin, it leaves a gentle trace of oils that are softening and delicate and you can just massage into your skin. But the amazing thing about it is that it has a magnetic element to it which means that you remove it with a magnet and the product literally leaps to the magnet without you even having to touch your skin. Just hover the magnet fractionally above and you’re done – it leaves everything completely clean.

Recovery Mask is packed with Dead Sea Minerals and mud, with essential oils of chamomile flower, honey and almond oil (hence the scent) along side many others and Vitamins A and B. It really does leave skin feeling softened and ultra moisturised – further down the line, it promises to reduce inflammation, soothe irritation and boost skin renewal. It doesn’t come cheap – about £70 – but it will at least be more accessible here in the not too distant future; I’ll post once it is available.

It’s paraben and mineral oil free. The whole range (based in Israel) is really one to watch with Recovery Mask as the ‘wow’ product. Using Dead Sea minerals, vitamins and plant extracts, it’s got all the components of being a pretty impressive newcomer to the UK.

Love the way you remove this, that’s one of the things I hate about gunky face masks – the removal and getting your towels all grubby!

  2. How amazing! The idea and the way you remove it really appeals to me. The price, not to much! hehe ;o)

Comes off with a magnet? Interesting. Are they the same company who make this Dead Sea?

Hope so, as I love their natural mineral soap and bath salts.
