This is definitely proving to be beauty bargain season. Before the House of Fraser offer ends on 17th September, there’s just time to get your hands on your favourite beauty treats with £10 off when you spend £50 on House of Fraser Favorites beauty products. There are so many of them and not just House of Fraser favourites – everyone’s favourites. MAC, Charlotte Tilbury and Urban Decay for a start! I’ve pulled out my top picks for all the autumn make up trends to take you nicely to a £50 spend so you can grab back that tenner and spend it on something else.

Hoola & Givenchy

Fresh Princess: There’s a huge trend for ‘no make up’ make up on its way – a perfected and fresh but understated look that’s totally opposite to the Instagram face. Both these items are spot on for a less is more look – Benefit Hoola Lite, £24.50, for its pale, winter skin loving warmth and Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto, £26.50, to give balm, plumping and a tint of colour to natural lips. This pair adds up to £51.

Giorgio Armani Estee Lauder

Dark Lips & Loaded Lashes: As soon as you start hauling out your winter sweaters, it’s more or less compulsory to take lip colour down into darker territory. Nothing cheers up a dark evening, late autumn day like a deep red lipstick and Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet, £29, is all of the glam in a velvety, stay put matte finish. Use a neutral eye shade across your lids and pare back your blush to a bare minimum so they’re not fighting for attention against ravishing red and spiky black lashes. Estee Lauder’s Double Wear Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara, £22, is an unsung hero for having a brilliant, all lashes covered brush and a formula that will see you through the whole day with long, dark lashes. This pair also adds up to £51.

Laura Mercier MAC

Glow Glamour: The glow trend isn’t going anywhere – soft focus skin and gleam on the high points are all here to stay for this autumn winter season; there is a wealth of new foundations with a matte finish, but my money is on Laura Mercier Candleglow Foundation that is a fail-safe luminosity giver to any age skin. Give a light sweep of MAC Mineralize Skinfinish, £24, for that extra ray of light, either buffing to a polished sheen on cheeks or as an all over glow-getter (go very sparingly if you use it all over the face).

There are literally hundreds of products included in the offer (including the Urban Decay original Naked which still sells at an incredible rate) – especially the new foundations that you might want to try from YSL, Laura Mercier, MAC and bareMinerals. My favourite bareMinerals Complexion Rescue is also in the offer and I never stop recommending that as an incredible day time tint with SPF. I can’t think how many tubes I’ve been through already. We have some big asks of our beauty purses these days with so many brands vying for our attention – anything that gives good value is a bonus and this might be exactly the right time that you need to stock up on favourites, try something new or up-size from a sample that you’ve loved. We have to be savvy shoppers  (I can hear my mum saying that money doesn’t grow on trees) so I’m happy to flag up the House of Fraser Beauty Event, but remember it finishes on the 17th – that’s Sunday this week!
