When you can’t sleep, you can’t sleep. It’s one of the most frustrating things ever. I go through periods of not being able to sleep – I usually drop off okay but then wake in the night worrying about something (actually, last night I did exactly that, stressing about sink holes!) and it takes a while to settle back down again.
It’s a good idea to have a back-up plan for those wakeful times which is exactly what Kiss The Moon is all about. If you respond well to the relaxing nature of aromatherapy oils then the blend of Rose Absolut, Ylang Ylang and Frankincense is all about calming and comforting. There’s also a lot to be said for association – so if you associate a certain fragrance with relaxation and sleep, then so it can follow that your brain tells you to calm right down and nod off when your olfactory senses are exposed to it.
Although Kiss The Moon Love Pillow Mist (HERE) is all of the glam with an old style puffer to spritz, it’s quite pricy at £40. However, you literally need one spritz to get a full aromatherapy blast, so I imagine it will last a long time. I have certain bath oil blends that are super relaxing to me so I know that there are huge benefits from aromatherapy and like the idea of a fragrance that immediately triggers a sleep mode.

Sometimes I dread going to bed because I know I will awaken at 3 am with my mind going mental, usually falling back to sleep an hour before the alarm goes off. Maybe this would be a nice item to pop on my Christmas list.
I think if it hits that soothing trigger that you need, then it’s really useful. You probably need to use it when you are sleeping well too so that it’s the same scent association.
I have tried the Bodyshop version of this and it left be with a headache!! Great before you are going to sleep. However, this seems like such an interesting product! xx

Generally I wake up at 3am with my mind racing if I’ve had too much to drink the night before – but I like the idea of a pillow mist!
ooh yes.. I call it wine rage.. when you’ve had a couple of glasses and wake up in the night really angry about something irrational!
