Here’s another of the light feeling fluids that offer a high SPF and environmental protection – this time from Aveda. What’s notable about this formula is that it makes your skin feel silky straight away – it’s quick to absorb and a little goes a long way.
Aveda Light Fluid goes onto the complexion evenly although it leaves a light sheen which is why I wouldn’t recommend it for very oily skin types. It also uses phyiscal sun barriers, Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, which I know that some prefer not to use on their face. However, while most of the very fluid formulas aren’t for major sun exposure but for more incidental exposure, Aveda Light Fluid can double as a ‘proper’ SPF if you reapply every couple of hours.
I find this expensive at £34 for 30ml, but it contains organic Kukui seed oil, Ayurvedic rice brand, rosemary extract, organic ginger, and Vitamin E, so it has quite a different ingredient line up compared to others I’ve seen so far.
You can find Aveda Light Fluid HERE.

Thank you for writing a great review on this product. I am always on the lookout for a new light sunscreen and this gave me the information I need to decide if I want to research the product further.
